Introduction of Digital Land Records

The digitization of land record was started by Government of Punjab under the Project Management Unit Land Record Management Information Systems. This project was close in year 2017 after its successful completition and Govt. of Punjab establish Punjab Land Record Authority for administration of computerized land record. Under this project only rural land is computerized. The old Revenue record is very complicated and lots of cases of possession are being pending in Civil Court as well as higher court. To address this issue Punjab Board of Revenue, Government of Punjab started PULSE Project.

Introduction of PULSE Project

The Board of Revenue, Government of Punjab address the issue of possession of land start PULSE Project. The Major component of this project is as under:

 

Digital Land Records and Cadastral Maps for LRMIS

Ø  Incorporation of existing urban records in the existing LRMIS system

Ø  Digitization of Deeds

Ø  Digitization of Remaining Mauzas

Ø  Systematic registration of urban, peri-urban and rural properties

Ø  Digitization of all non-BOR entities

Ø  Spatial Framework of LRMIS

Ø  Establishment of digital cadastral maps

 

Land for Urban Development

Ø  Development of public land inventory

Ø  State land management

Ø  Development of portal for state land

Ø  Supporting affordable housing

 

Integrated Land Information System & Services

Ø  Development of unified land management system (Cooperative dept, MCs, katchi abadis, Development

Ø  Authorities)

Ø  Upgrading the ICT infrastructure

Ø  Integrated Land portal

Ø  Development of PSDI

Ø  Strengthening Geodetic Network

 

Project Management and Policy Development

Ø  Monitoring and Evaluation

Ø  Legal and regulatory support

 

After completing this project 99% cases of possession in Civil Court being address and every person knows about its property because the Government of Punjab shift the hole systems on
