The Punjab Land Record Authority start E-registration
in all over Punjab. The Resisted of Deed project had been ended. Now all the
registries are entered by any person have account on PLRA system. This e-registration project was started in
better public interest and reduce interference of registry branch of Sub-Registrar
office. This project face lots of problems. When this project shift from ROD to
e-registration lots of registries was pending Sub-Registrar account from
electronic approval but Sub-Registrar did not approve these takes from some
reasons.
The Director Operation, Punjab Land Record
authority addresses the issues of pending task of ROD vide letter no: PLRA/DO/2024/2183
on dated 6th of February 2024. The main content of said letter is as under:
“It is directed that ROD system has been
stopped by competent authority since January 1st, 2024. This resulted in the
stoppage of tasks on already approved Registered Deeds for onward sanctioning
of their mutations. Hence, accordingly, manual entry of mutations based on
registered deeds has also been stopped at ARCs. Now, all such Registered Deeds'
mutations will be implemented through a properly defined procedure.
For the mutation of all previously pending
registered deeds approved by the Sub Registrars manually either bypassing the
ROD system or approved before the ROD system, application will be submitted to
the concerned District Collector. The District Collector will write to Punjab
Land Records Authority through the Board of Revenue, Punjab for creation of
tasks for the mutation of all such registered deeds. Accordingly, tasks will be
created for the implementation of such registered deeds in CLRMIS.
